Hey Look Ma, I Made It

Good morning, my Lovelies! Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate in one way or another! I hope you've had an amazing week and for those of you who have been on, or are going on Spring Break, I hope that you've found time to relax, rejuvenate, and refocus on the priorities in your life.

Well, y'all...I did it! I got my website made and it is up and running. You want to know what else? I did it without a damn bit of help from anybody else. And as fucking frustrating as it was to get done, as fucking annoying as it was to ask for help and get no response (not even an "I wish I knew so I could help you."), I'm proud of myself for figuring it out and making it happen. (Now, before she reads this and bitches, I did have one friend to connect me with someone that offered a suggestion, the problem being that I had already taken steps on my own and there was no turning back to start the process over. - Love ya, Boo!)

I know that probably doesn't make much sense, but as I said last week, I tend to do things out of order. Decisions had been made, steps had been taken, and once the investment had been made, I didn't have much choice but to go in the direction that I'd begun.

Now, if you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that my parents still have no idea (as far as I know) that I have completed and published my books. They know I've been writing for a while, but not what about, nor what I've done with those stories. So, maybe the title of this blog wasn't the most apropos because of the "Ma" part, but the fact is, I made it. I did it. I feel accomplished.

Of course, my Sagittarius traits are now screaming because even though I've managed this feat on my own and I've spread word of it, nobody has congratulated me. Sometimes there's no satisfying me.

I will say this, if you do go and check out my website, please keep in mind that:
1) I did it myself.
2) It is a work in progress.
3) It will look so much better when I am finally able to add more content with my next book releases.
4) I did it myself. (I said that already, didn't I?)
5) You can reach the site by going to my Linktree, or you can simply go to DawnLoveBooks!

Until next time, and as always,

Much love and affection, from me to you!

Shelly (a/k/a Dawn Love)
