Just A Friend

Good afternoon, my Lovelies! It's Friday and I'm so fucking ready for the weekend that I could cry. Actually, I'm ready for this time next week to be here already. Why is that? If you've been following me for a while you know that it is about that time of year. Yep! It's time for that annual girls' trip and I'm ready to hit the road! So... How ya doin'? Good? Awesome! Drink your water. Be sure to smile. And, for the hell of it, go do something completely unexpected. Surprise yourself and see how much fun you have! What are we going to talk about today? Oh, boy. Here we go. I am and have always been the person people confide in. I not only don't mind it, I thrive in that role. When people need a shoulder to cry on, I'm there. Good afternoon, my Lovelies! I'm just going to skip all the how ya doin's and get right to this. I've been trying to work today. I need to be writing. I need to be editing. If your partner treats you like a king/queen (in whatever way that applies to you), then you need to reciprocate. If your partner plans a night out - go. Enjoy. Be thankful and be the one who plans the ne

Good afternoon, my Lovelies! I come to you today from the exquisite shade of my front porch. It is absolutely beautiful here today and I couldn't resist the urge to load up all my equipment and park myself on my bench to do some work. I have my laptop, my phone, my various other accouterments that are necessary for my writing, and my Route 44 Diet Cherry Limeaid from Sonic. Life is good! If you've been following me for a while or if you've taken the plunge and gone back and read some of my old blogs, you will remember me doing a series called "Letter to Me" based off of the song by Brad Paisley. If you haven't read them, scroll on back and give them a looky-loo. They're honest. They're touching. They're eye-opening. (Wow, I can really talk myself up when I want to.) Most of all, they're a reminder to me to never take a single moment for granted, to never give up, and to seize the day because you never know what tomorrow might bring. (There'
