Night Moves

Good afternoon, my Lovelies!

It is a rainy, lazy day here on Delmarva. How's things where you are? Ya good? Taking care of yourself? I certainly hope so!

I'm sure you're extremely excited to read whatever nonsense I'm getting ready to throw out here. (The fun part of blogging for me is that I don't have any more idea of what I'm going to say than you do!) So, buckle up while I share what's on my mind today.

I've recently been talking to a friend about a multitude of different things. My books, my life - things I've done. Seriously, we've covered a shit-ton of topics. (It's been fun getting caught up/getting to know each other a bit better.)

As you guys have seen through the years, I really don't hold much back. That became obvious when our conversation turned to more sexual topics.

Y'all know by now that I'll tell you what you want to know, right? (Just not some of my secrets... 😉) So, when discussions of body count came up, I answered without hesitation. It doesn't bother me to share that or any other discussions of a sexual nature. And it doesn't bother me one way or another how few or many other people have slept with.

I sincerely don't care if someone is a virgin, has only slept with one person, or is a straight-up 'ho. I like it when people can let their guard down and just be themselves. If you're comfortable saying it, I want to hear it. If not, that's fine, too.

As I've said many times, I'm easy. 😜

So, look. If we're having a convo and you want to share, share. I've learned through the years just how important it is to be able to open up to people and I thoroughly enjoy talking to and discovering new things about my friends.

And truthfully, as an author, every conversation I have gets stored somewhere in my brain to be pulled out at a later time for possible use in a manuscript. (Don't worry. Names and situations get changed to protect those I care about!)

Good morning, my Lovelies! It has been a while since I've blogged and truthfully, I don't know if I would be blogging right now if I didn't need to get some things out of my head. Life has been a real struggle for me lately. I hope you all have been doing well. I know that is a stretch for many of you in the USA right now, but that is a whole-ass topic that I won't even begin to discuss at the moment. Y'all. I'm sad. I'm devastated. My heart has been shattered into a million pieces. One of my friends passed away this past weekend. It was very sudden and at this point, I don't know the cause. He was young and healthy. He took very good care of himself - always at the gym and running those Tough Mudder races, etc. So, my mind simply cannot process how this has happened. The House That Built Me

Good morning, my Lovelies! How are you? How's life? I hope things are well and that good fortune has looked favorably upon you. I woke bright and early this morning so that I could share with you before the rest of the house woke up. Once they're awake? Complete chaos and I have trouble getting my thoughts together. I apologize in advance, but this is going to be a long one. You see, I'm in Kentucky visiting my parents and there are six of us crammed into a tiny, two-bedroom apartment. So, yes, I'm grateful to be here, grateful for a break from work and my normal day-to-day, grateful for time with my elderly parents, but...chaos, all the same.
