Blessed

Good afternoon, my Lovelies! It is Thanksgiving here in the USA and I want to take a moment to tell each and every one of you just how thankful I am that you have taken time out of your busy lives to follow me and join me on this crazy journey. I continue to be overwhelmed that people are interested in not only the stories I write, but the day-to-day and week-to-week madness that I pass along to you in this blog. It is humbling that my words are read around the world and I am very grateful to you all. A few blog posts ago I mentioned that I wanted to do something special to celebrate one year of my blog. I have finally decided what that will be. I have been working closely with a dear friend to give my current books a facelift. The entire Cassidy Brothers series will be getting new covers and I am here to tell you...these new book covers are HOT! I hope to have the first three covers released very, very soon (think...days - hopefully - fingers crossed). And, the fourth book is ready fo

Good morning, my Lovelies! It's Thursday and I hope life is treating you like the king or queen that you are! Me? Well, as usual, my crown is decidedly lopsided right now. I'm coming to terms with that, though. I'm finding I'm more and more at peace with who I am as a person. It took me way too long to realize that, but the important part is that I have, right? As you know, I have a long drive to and from work each day and I usually spend that time lost in my music, in my stories, etc. Every now and then a song comes on and it takes me back, makes me nostalgic, makes me long for days where I traipsed through the cornfields and ran wild as a child. It will remind me of summers spent camping, fishing and hiking through the woods.  I mean, have you ever awakened to the aroma of breakfast cooking over a campfire? It's so invigorating! Have you ever gotten up at 4 or 5 in the morning, gathered your fishing gear, and sat on the river bank all day drowning worms and relaxi

Meant To Be

Good morning, my Lovelies! It's Veteran's Day here in the USA and I have to take a minute to thank all of you who have served in our armed forces, especially my family and friends. Your call to action and service does not go unnoticed and my gratitude for you, your time, and your sacrifice cannot be measured.  How's everyone doing? Me? Eh. I'll survive. For the record, I've now re-written this blog three times. Please be happy knowing that I didn't leave you with a listing of all my woes as I found myself doing with each and every prior version. I wanted to take a moment and discuss soulmates. I don't know about you, but I fully believe that each of us has a soulmate. In fact, I believe that we may have more than one. You see, I feel that there are different levels of soulmates. In my mind, we have a soulmate that we connect with romantically, a soulmate that we connect with emotionally. We have a soulmate that we connect with sexually, and a soulmate that w

Broken Pieces

Good morning, my Lovelies! It is Saturday and as usual, my timing is off. That seems to be a recurring theme in my life so I don't know why I continue to be surprised by this. I hope you're doing well and that you are taking advantage of your day and doing something fun and relaxing. I was very lazy this morning, and though that bothers me on some level, I know that I needed the extra sleep and the time to just laze around in bed. That rest and recharge doesn't happen for me nearly as often as it should. So while I have a multitude of things I want and need to do today, I'm going to give myself a small break and know that I did what my body, mind, and soul needed. This week I've been doing some reflecting, some looking at past relationships. This isn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last. However, this is the first time that I've put the stories of those relationships into the written word. And in doing that, I've discovered just how
